PURCHASER
The Purchaser / Materials Manager is responsible to ensure that all materials are provided to our field technicians at Netco Electric Ltd, in a timely matter, and on budget. The primary focus will be the procurement, tracking, and delivery of materials and products to Netco’s active job sites or warehouse/storage as required. The role requires great attention to detail in order to make sure that all parts, tools, and order details are made available to the field staff to meet our client’s requirements for timely and effective completion of the task. The Manager will possess strong planning ability and organizational skills and oversee the proper material shows up on time and on budget. This role interacts with field staff, vendors, estimating, sales and operations so Manager must have strong communication skills. The position reports to the Director of Finance.
JUNIOR ESTIMATOR
The Estimator is responsible for the take-off, establishing BOM, securing pricing and establishing labor requirements for opportunities presented for estimates. The Estimator will be required to perform site visits and gather any data, information, and details required to successfully complete the estimate and/or tender. As well, the estimator will be involved in design-build projects working alongside Sales and GM as required. The Estimator will possess strong planning ability and organizational skills to manage and maintain closing deadlines for a multitude of projects simultaneously. This role interacts with clients and stakeholders so Estimator must have strong communication skills.
SAFETY MANAGER
The Safety Manager is responsible for preventing accidents and making sure safety measures are adhered to at Netco Electric Ltd. The primary focus will be formulating and implementing safety policies and procedures for the organization and maintain all requirements for government regulations. The Safety Manager will carry out site inspections, investigations and hazard assessments as required for all worksite, office, and warehouse. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the policies and/or regulations required under our Safety Program, techniques of supervising and policies that guide personnel generally. The Safety Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and safety of all capital assets and buildings including but not limited to all vehicles, tools, and equipment as well as company buildings and infrastructure both on-site or head office. This role interacts with the supervision of all field staff, office staff and Health and Safety officers of our clients and stakeholders so the Manager must have strong communication skills.
